Georgia Farmaceuticals prides itself on being fully transparent, and providing you with the best product possible. We also pride ourselves on being local, third party tested, and pesticide free, GMO free, and heavy metal free.

Here is the team behind the product you have grown to love:

Owner
Barry Smith

Barry Smith is a lifelong resident of Georgia. He was raised in Cobb County where he met and married his wife, Cyndi. Barry worked as a Custom home builder until 1997 when he and his wife and 2 children moved to Bartow County and became a bedding plant grower/wholesaler. Through the years they grew and added additional locations in Ring Gold and Dahlonega.

In 2020, when Hemp was legalized in Georgia, he decided to transition and was one of the first to be issued a Georgia Hemp Growers license.

He has worked with UGA and the Department of Agriculture to help provide a resource location for all stages of hemp, from Mother Plants, to cloning, to flowering, harvesting, and drying. He has provided guidance to other Georgia Hemp Growers through their first year of growing in an effort to make this a successful crop for Georgia.

After the first season he realized there was a need to have the steps in place to provide the Georgia Hemp to the marketplace. And there was also a need to provide a quality CBD product at a dosage level that will possible help everyone in their everyday life and activities.

Since March 2020 Barry has been exploring and working through all the requirements to be able to sell his CBD products. He was able to assemble a team and started Georgia FarmAceuticals.

He is a Hemp Farmer and a CBD user/believer.

Sarah Johnson
SJ Labs and Analytics, LLC

SJ Labs and Analytics, LLC aims to be the leader in hemp analytical testing in Georgia and the Southeast. We are passionate about the hemp industry, because we know and value the economic and medicinal relief the hemp industry can deliver.

SJ Labs and Analytics, LLC was founded in 2019 by Sarah L. Johnson, a career research scientist renowned for her innovation, method development, and technical analytical skills. Sarah came across the need for an analytical lab in 2016, while assisting associates in Colorado, and decided to open her own lab in Georgia following the passage of the Georgia Hemp Farming Act.

Sarah was born and raised in Georgia, having attended Georgia Southern for her BS in Biology, and Georgia State for her MS in Biology, with a concentration in Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry. She has worked and led several valuable projects, bringing to fruition patents and new products throughout her career. Sarah is excited to bring her innovation to the budding industry of hemp.
